The eye-wateringly pretty Farbio GTS sports car is now for sale on Auto Trader.
First details of the Farbio GTS were announced in the middle of 2007 with the Bath-built sports car making its official debut the MPH show at the end of the year.
Built entirely of carbon fibre, the light-weight GTS boasted sports car looks along with everyday car features such as electric windows, sat-nav, air-conditioning, central locking and connections for an iPod.
There is also an impressive 220-litre boot, while Farbio claims the GTS can accommodate a 6’6’’ driver in the car’s Sparco seats.
Under the bonnet is a 3-litre V6 engine – mated to a six-speed manual gearbox –available in three different power outputs – 260bhp, 350bhp and the range-topping 410bhp.
With these performance figures come 0-62mph times of 4.8, 4 and 3.8 seconds respectively and estimated top speeds of 160mph, 170mph and 185mph.
Auto Trader has two 260bhp Farbio GTS for sale at the moment with one on the market with Farbio’s approved dealer Redline Specialist Cars in Harrogate and the other on the market with Lotus dealer London Group
The model for sale with Redline is a ’58’ plate black GTS with just 425 miles on the clock and features optional extras including metallic paint, sat-nav, alcantara headlining and coloured brake callipers and is on the market for £63,995.
In London, the Farbio GTS is an ‘08’ model in bright metallic orange with one owner and 1,800 miles on the clock. It features leather seats, sat-nav and iPod connectivity and costs £59,950.
And for £8,000-10,000 extra London Group can have the car sent back to Farbio to be fitted with a supercharger to boost power to 350bhp.
But those looking for the standard Farbio GTS 350 should pay a visit to The TVR Centre in Barnet who are selling one with 1,500 miles on the clock for £78,995.
