A top-spec Range Rover Vogue previously owned by Chelsea and England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips is for sale on Auto Trader.

Shaun Wright-Phillips was the first owner of this 2002 Range Rover Vogue which features more gadgets than James Bond’s Aston Martin DBS.

Chelsea and England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips was signed for the Stamford Bridge by ex-boss Jose Mourinho for £21 million in 2005 and has scored four goals for England in 19 appearances.

But the pint-sized midfielder has had an indifferent time at the West London club and missed out on this year’s Champions League final defeat to Man United.

Like most footballers Shaun Wright-Phillips loves his cars but the son of former Arsenal legend and Gladiators host Ian Wright is also a fan of three wheels, owning a Harley-Davidson trike.

His old Range Rover Vogue is fitted with the car maker’s top engine – a 4.4-litre V8 powerplant producing 281bhp and 324lb/ft of pulling power.

The result is 0-62mph (100kph) in 9 seconds and a top speed of 130mph, while averaging a claimed 17.4mpg.

But the Range Rover Vogue along with the Range Rover Sport is a footballers’ favourite and so not all about performance but also the amount of flash features fitted to the Solihull-built motor.

And Wright-Phillips has added a PlayStation 2, two DVD screens and a fold down TV, a sub-woofer and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels which cost an additional £1,495.

Other features include £2,700 leather seats, sat-nav, heated windscreen, bi-xenon headlights, parking sensors and a six-CD Harmon Kardon sound system.

Now you can get your hands on Shaun Wright-Phillips’ old Range Rover – which has covered 85,000 miles, has a full service history and almost £70,000 new – for £18,500.
