Hold on to your reindeer – Auto Trader has a Christmas sleigh previously owned by Santa Claus!

Santa’s Christmas sleigh comes with a unique keyless entry system and has covered just 24,901,000 miles and is completely carbon neutral, avoids the London congestion charge and is tax exempt.

The current owner has also upgraded the engine from eight-reindeer-power to nine-reindeer-power for improved performance, and the sleigh comes equipped with a sequential fully automatic gearbox.

For those foggy winter nights, the Christmas sleigh is fitted with a glowing red fog light at the front to help you through the air, and comes standard with a navigation pack.

And to keep it completely recyclable, the one-off Christmas sleigh is made out of wood – but it is in pristine condition.

So don’t be put off by the 24,901,000 mileage – the current owner reports using it just one night a year and these are mostly air miles.

Jerry Cobb of Sandy Thain Car Sales said: “We put up the advert in the first week of December and we’ve had half a dozen enquiries asking about it – whether it has electric windows, a service history, etc.

“We put the advert up to simply say Merry Christmas from Sandy Thain!”
