Get your chequebooks out Liverpool and England fans – Steven Gerrard’s fully-loaded BMW X5 is up for sale.

The Reds captain was the first owner of this 2004 Estoril blue BMW X5 3.0d Sport, which has sat-nav, leather seats, privacy glass and parking sensors.

Powered by a 3-litre diesel engine the X5 produces 218bhp and a massive 369 lb/ft of pulling power, enabling the sporty SUV to accelerate from 0-60mph in 8.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 130mph.

The Beemer, which has covered 30,000 miles, boasts 19-inch alloys, xenon headlights and a colour coded bodykit. 

Gerrard – who was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List – is regarded as one of the best footballers in the world, and led Liverpool to the Champions League in 2005 after one of the greatest comebacks of all time against AC Milan.

The talismanic midfielder repeated his heroics in 2006, winning the FA Cup against West Ham United after scoring the goal of the season in what has been described as ‘The Gerrard Final’.

He later passed the motor on to former teammate Stephen Warnock, who signed for fellow Northwest team Blackburn Rovers earlier this week.
