Are you a fan of Dukes of Hazzard? Well you could get your hands on a replica of the show’s classic Dodge Charger.

Named General Lee in the hit show after the Confederate Army officer, the 1971 Charger is fitted with a massive 8-litre V8 producing 275bhp.

The 36-year-old muscle car has been sprayed orange and has ‘01’ painted on each door and the confederate flag on the roof.

And it’s even fitted with the iconic Dixie horn.

Dukes of Hazzard was a phenomenal success in the early Eighties starring John Schneider and Tom Wopat as the Duke Brothers who drove round the fictional Hazzard County selling moonshine.

The car was famous for its stunts where Bo Duke (Schneider) would use broken bridges as a ramp to evade the Sheriff.

Schneider – who now plays Clark Kent’s dad in Smallville – was responsible for 60 per cent of the show’s driving, with the rest done by 20 stunt drivers

He said: “The truth is that once you’ve seen a 3,500lb car hit the ground at 50mph from 20ft in the air, you really don’t want to try it yourself.”

And the show was recently remade into a Hollywood movie starring Jessica Simpson and Johnny Knoxville.

The car became such a star that it received more fan mail than the programme’s actors.

You can get your hands on the retro replica for £17,990.
