The fastest, most powerful production Bentley car ever will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show.

And the footballer's favourite manufacturer has revealed the car will run on biofuel.

Details of the new car are fairly vague but the Crewe-based car maker has released a single image of the model revealing a Continental-style face.

Currently the most powerful production Bentley is the Continental GT Speed which will hit 202mph thanks to a 6-litre, 600bhp engine.

This engine is also found in the 200mph Flying Spur and recently-announced GTC model.

Biofuel is seen as a more environmentally friendly fuel as it is grown from crops such as rapeseed which absorb carbon from the atmosphere.

It is generally made up of 85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent petrol and has a higher octane level than unleaded fuel, generating more power.

The biofuel Bentley isn’t the first ‘green’ supercar however with Koenigsegg building a 1,018bhp bio-powered CCXR with a top speed of 254mph-plus – however the CCXR costs in excess of £1.5 million.

The Bentley Continetal GT is a favourite among Britain's millionaire footballers with owners including Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard and England captain John Terry.

The Bentley will make its world debut on March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show.

We’ll be reporting live from Geneva so don’t forget to come back for all the big news.
