24 October 2007 Small car buyers are in for a treat – Ford has announced a new take on its best-selling Fiesta. The new Fiesta Zetec S Celebration comes complete with a black and white chequered roof decal in a nod to ‘thirty years of success’ for Ford’s supermini. But you better be quick off the mark – Ford has limited the Celebration’s production run to just 400 units. Outside, the new Celebration is distinguished from its Fiesta siblings by its conspicuous Celebration Green paintwork, unique bodykit, 16-inch alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, Panther Black door mirrors, and a roof spoiler. And on the inside, buyers will benefit from air conditioning, sports seats, a full ‘Ebony Haze’ leather interior and a CD player with a portable music connection socket. Sitting under the bonnet is Ford’s 1.6-litre petrol engine which produces 100bhp and completes the 0-62mph sprint in less than ten seconds. And the frugal Fiesta manages to return 43.5mpg on the combined cycle. On sale next month, the new Fiesta Zetec S Celebration starts at £12,595.
