Victory for 186mph Corvette - Corvette Victory Edition

One of America's best-loved sportscars has been given a new lease of life to celebrate its Le Mans 24-Hour race successes.

Just 250 Corvette 'Victory Edition' coupes will be built, sporting the same 404bhp 6-litre V8 engine as the standard C6 coupe.

This means the Victory Edition will reach 62mph from rest in 4.3 seconds, and go on to a top speed of 186mph.

All Victory Edition Corvettes come with 18 inch wheels at the front and 19 inch at the rear alongside a choice of black or Corvette's trademark yellow paintwork.

Cars specified with black bodywork feature an ebony and red interior, while yellow cars have an ebony and titanium grey colour scheme.

All cars come with a head-up display which shines information such as speed, revs and G-force onto the windscreen and a touch screen DVD satellite navigation system.

Buyers can choose between a standard six-speed manual or an electronically-controlled paddle shift automatic gearbox.

Each Victory Edition comes with an individually-numbered plaque and all buyers will be offered a free driver training event at a choice of European race tracks.

The Victory Edition Corvette is priced at £51,285, £4,690 more than the standard car.
