Top Gear star beats Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp
14 June 2006 Top Gear star Richard Hammond has beaten Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp as the star female drivers would most like to share their car with. One in five women who voted in our car sharing survey chose the pint-sized presenter as their ideal in-car entertainment - narrowly beating Hollywood heartthrob Depp into second place. Richard Hammond said: "It's very flattering and funny that the women voted me over Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Brad Pitt." "They don't know my driving habits, though - I always drive with the window down, play my music too loud , and TG (the Top Gear dog) drools everywhere. And there would be constant arguments about the map reading. Anyone still want to share a car with me?" Men voted Angelina Jolie as the person they'd most like to share a car with - some consolation to her other half Brad Pitt - the ladies' fourth choice, behind female stars Keira Knightley and Britney Spears. Blokes voted Kelly Brook and Jeremy Clarkson as their second and third choices. And it's bad news for Big Brother star Shahbaz - the ear-shattering whinger tops the list of stars people would least like to share a car with - for both men and women. |
