Get money off a new Three
11 March 2005 Franchised showrooms aren't offering any cash off the car yet, and the What Car? Target Price is still the same as the list price, but a handful of brokers are providing small savings. You'll have to wait 12 weeks for delivery, but Carfile (0870 833 2152 ) is cutting 3% off the range. That brings the £23,360 asking price of the 320d ES, our pick of the range, down to £22,659 - a saving of £701. Drivethedeal.com is advertising the same car for £473 less than list price at £22,887, while Uknewcars.co.uk can manage £428 off. With supply very limited initially, BMW showrooms are unlikely to start offering discounts for a good few months yet. If you can't wait or find these prices too high, the previous-generation 3 Series is still a highly competent contender. The arrival of the new model should help to soften used-car values a few percent over the course of this year and into 2006, so keep an eye on our online valuations.
