How now, stolen cow?
One, apparently. Thieves in Malaysia attempted to steal a cow by stuffing into the back seat of the car and driving away. But villagers spotted the would-be cattle rustlers and gave chase (it’s pretty difficult to remain inconspicuous in that situation). The driver lost control in the ensuing chase and crashed into a tree, and fled from the scene. Pushing up the Dassies A woman in South Africa took her BMW back to the dealership to rectify an unusal problem. It was full of rodents. A family of Dassies, rabbit-sized mammals indiginous to Africa, had set up home in the engine bay and the spare tyre of the woman's BMW. After scratching their heads, the dealership called Johannesburg Zoo who removed the animals, which seek out warm hiding places, from their temporary home.
There are some animals you might expect to see sticking their heads out of car windows. Primarily dogs. But an off-duty cop in America spotted another animal sticking its head out of the window of a car travelling down the Schuykill Expressway in Philadelphia - a three and a half foot long alligator.
