Are Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond really falling for each other? Attitude magazine claims Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond are enjoying a “bro-mance”.

In this week’s Weird World of Wheels ‘TV Special’ we examine the pair’s unlikely alliance, and look some great stories from the presenters of Channel Five’s motoring flagship, Fifth Gear.

Top Gear bro-mance?

Attitude magazine has ‘outed’ Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, joking the pair are experiencing a “bro-mance”.

The gay magazine says the pair are such good friends they could be brothers – or even closer.

The mag writes: “Jeremy loves gays. He is always saying it. This may well be because his fast car obsession clearly masks a deep and penetrating love affair with his famous co-star Richard Hammond.”

When filming a piece for the new series of Channel Five’s Fifth Gear, presenter Jonny Smith found himself caught a little short.

“I desperately needed to pee”, he explains. “In the end, I couldn’t wait, so I just went on the side of the road, while all these people were watching me, walking past.”

"Everyone thinks I used to juggle chainsaws. It's not true. I used to fight with them."

Jonny’s co-presenter and all-round car nut Tom Ford’s first foray into the world of entertainment was an unusual one.

"I joined when I went to university," says Tom. "We did sword fighting, chainsaw fighting, fire breathing and things like that. We took a tank to Glastonbury. I ended up in the circus."
