This week:

Rover carries sheep

Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis – traditional drives of Hollywood stars. But a Mk1 Land Rover?

Shaun the Sheep – star of Oscar-winning animated flick A Close Shave – is back on our screens in a specially made Land Rover.

The British company were specially commissioned to create a life-size 4x4 for the show.

Roger Crathorne, Land Rover technical communications manager, said: "We used a 1951 rolling chassis with a 90-inch rear body. It's taken seven weeks to complete and has now passed its MOT making it completely road-worthy."

Google mirth

Google Maps is a handy journey planning tool. Type in your start point and destination and the search giant's route-finder will produce a list of directions.

But try this…

1. Go to maps.google.com

2. Enter 'New York, New York to Paris, France'

3. Read instruction number 24

4. Put your eyebrows back where they were

Post-It prank

Want to wind up your boss? There are quicker and more efficient methods than this…

Staff at a US technology company covered their boss's Jag with thousands of differently-coloured Post-It notes.

Just be thankful they didn’t use Tippex.

Weird pic of the week

This photo shows what happened when a Russian protestor parked one car on top of another to highlight the city's parking problem.

Perhaps next time… a leafleting campaign?

It was a Hillman Husky.

Video: Water palaver

Time to get those windscreen-wipers tested. Take a look at this video of a Niagra-like torrent of water spewing out of a drain onto an American freeway.

And just when you think it's over...
