Porsche Panamera video screams awesome

The Porsche Panamera is one of those really awkward cars to review.
On one hand there’s its technical wizardry; the Panamera really is a fantastic piece of engineering boasting a supreme setup to give it almost unparalleled performance.
It handles like a hot hatch and goes like a supercar – all in the package of an executive saloon.
Everything about its driving ability puts a smile on your face. Why the awkwardness? Well, look at it.
As with the Cayenne, Porsche has given its new model the unmistakable 911 face. This works on a 911 – but we’re not so sure it works on a super-saloon or 4x4.
We guess it’s up to you, the customer, to decide on the merits of a car’s design.
But for 60 years Porsche has been building cars which look the same. Don’t believe us? Well check out this new commercial for the Panamera – the advert is amazing, showcasing the car maker’s greatest achievements.
I’m sold completely. On the 959, Carrera GT, 917 race car but the Panamera? Erm, if we’re playing fantasy garage then I’d rather spend a bit more on the Aston Martin Rapide.
