The complete guide to supercar clubs
Fancy driving a Ferrari F430 for a day for £100? Or perhaps a Lamborghini Gallardo for the weekend?
Supercar clubs give motorists the thrills of a supercar – without the cost of ownership. We reveal how they work and how to join.
What is a supercar club?
Supercar clubs allow motorists to drive a selection of exotic cars for a fee.
The cars belong to the club and members usually spend credits to hire a car for a day or a weekend. Credits can be bought from the club.

What are the benefits?
As well as sitting behind the wheel of some of the world’s most powerful cars, club members can take advantage of cheap running costs.
In some cases members will avoid ownership costs completely, which can be particularly expensive for supercars. This may include:
1. Insurance – save up to £5,000 per year
2. Depreciation – save up to £75,000 in the first two years
3. Repairs – save up to £6,000 per service
The wide range of choice is also an appeal, as clubs tend to have around fifteen cars available. Expect this to include hot models from Porsche, Pagani, Aston Martin, Maserati, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
How can I join?
You can sign-up online or by phone. There are various clubs to choose from so take the time to look around first.
A one-off membership fee may apply, which can cost above £1,500 – some clubs offer deals if you join and buy credits at the same time. You can hire cars by paying a monthly fee or paying for credits as and when you want to spend them.

How much does it cost?
Cost varies from club to club, but you can expect to pay around £10,000 per year for driving a selection of supercars for 45 days.
Some clubs offer special rates for recommending a friend or if you buy in bulk.
Example club: écurie25
écurie25 is a supercar club based in London which offers shared access to a stable of supercars for an average 45 driving days per year.
Members have access to 24-hour concierge services, an exclusive calendar of events and invitations to other private membership clubs.
Their range of supercars includes the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Aston Martin DBS and the Ferrari F430 Spider.
Chief executive Chirag Shah said, “Supercar clubs are a low-cost, high impact way of accessing supercars.
“Members can drive between fifteen and twenty supercars without committing a lot of money to just one car,” Chirag said.
“For example since the credit crunch residual values on cars have come down a lot – buyers of one £150,000 supercar can now lose as much as £75,000 in two years.
“Instead you can get 40 days in a Ferrari for £10,000 – this is much better value.”
