We round up the UK’s best New Year car deals – bringing you an average saving of £5,716.
Ford Focus
Price: £9,999
Save: £8,174
Ford’s family hatchback is the UK’s biggest selling car – and Motorpoint is selling an 08-plate Ford Focus with 6,069 miles on the clock for £9,999.
This nearly new 1.6-litre TDCi Zetec model comes with ABS, air-conditioning, alloy wheels and metallic paint, and has an average fuel economy of 62.7mpg.

Volkswagen Golf Plus

The Volkswagen Golf Plus TDi SE is a larger take on VW’s popular hatchback – boasting anti-lock brakes, air-conditioning, 16-inch alloys and cruise control.
The 1.9-litre diesel-powered ‘Dub has a top speed of 114mph and emits 146g/km of CO2, placing it into tax band C at £120 per year.
Low Price Cars is offering the new Golf for £14,500 – £2,945 off the list price.
