We reveal the UK's cheapest cars to insure

08 January 2009

Car insurance premiums could rise by 20 per cent this year, some UK insurers have warned.

We round-up six of the best cars in insurance group 1.

Every UK car is classed in one of 20 insurance groups, with 1 being the cheapest and 20 the most expensive. You’re more likely to get a better insurance quote if you own a car in the lowest group.
