Happy 60th birthday Saab!

Over the past six decades the Swedish company has made some innovative motors from the turbocharged 99 to the unbelievable Aero X concept.

Originally famous for its aircraft, the first Saab car was revealed on June 10, 1947 in the staff canteen at the company’s headquarters in Sweden.

And in 2006, the owner of a 1989 Saab 900 donated the car to a Wisconsin museum after amassing more than one million miles in it.

Famous owners include Stephen Fry and Sir Bob Geldof, while Jeremy Clarkson referred to Saabs as the most beautifully driven cars on the road.
