Dealer Portal is an Auto Trader service and we take your privacy very seriously. As part of the normal operation of our services we collect and, in some cases, may disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy describes the information that we collect and what may happen to that information.

The minimum information we need to in order to process your Dealer Portal access application is dealer name, address, phone number and email address.
If you wish to subscribe to extra products within Dealer Portal additional information will be requested during subscription to that product.
Use of Information
When you visit our web site, we issue a "cookie" or unique identification code that enables us to recognise your computer. The cookie contains no personally identifying information and is merely used to note which sections of our web site you have recently accessed. This information is never shared with a third party and is only used to make our systems more efficient.
Auto Trader is part of the Trader Media Group, and information supplied in this site may be shared with other group companies. Auto Trader will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others when you have opted out of this service and those that are passed information with your permission are carefully chosen, reputable and trustworthy third parties. Occasionally Auto Trader may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third party vendors, but those statistics will include no personally identifying information.
Auto Trader follows the relevant legal requirements and uses all reasonable precautions to ensure that only responsible third parties see the information; however we are not responsible for any breach of security or any actions of any third parties who receive the information.

You have the right to access all personal information supplied to Auto Trader and rectify any inaccuracies on the information held (a charge of £10 may be administered).
