Join a Motoring Organisation, which includes a rescue service, such as the RAC.


What to do in an emergency


If car battery fluid goes in your:

Eyes - Flush with water from a cup or other container for at least 15 minutes (water under pressure can damage the eye) and immediately call a doctor
Skin - Remove contaminated clothing, rinse the skin with large quantities of water and call a doctor immediately
Mouth - Drink water or milk, and call a doctor immediately
