Make Me an Offer

You may see the ‘Make Me an Offer’ logo next to car ads on autotrader.co.uk.

This means you can send an offer for the car directly to a dealer by e-mail, without having to visit them.

Make Me an Offer means you control the deal and a dealer will only receive your contact details if they accept your offer.

For essential advice before making an offer, read our car dealer information, car buyers' legal rights and depreciation advice.

To use Make Me an Offer follow these simple steps:

1. Register with autotrader.co.uk

2. Validate your account. This is to ensure that no-one can send a fake offer in your name. We will send a code to your mobile ‘phone, and all you have to do is confirm you have received it.

3. Find a 'Make Me an Offer' car you like

4. Click on the ‘Make Me an Offer’ button to submit your offer

You can also restrict your car searches to vehicles you can make an offer on. To do this, click the ‘More search options’ link on the search form, then tick the ‘Make Me an Offer Only’ box.
