The usage of mobile phones is continuing to rocket as more and more people are buying phones and with technology growing phones are becoming mini computers in which you can access the web and search bundles of information.
In May 2003 over 22 million page impressions per day were looked at on Wap Services.
Bike Trader stock can be accessed through WAP (wireless application protocol) phones where customers can use simple drop down menus to select a vehicle, model, price, and distance they wish to travel.
The service enables users to:
- Browse through in excess of 250,000 cars and motorcycles for sale nationwide
- Search for a vehicle locally or nationally
- Locate the vehicle and call the seller with instant search results
You can access the Bike Trader WAP service on http://wap.autotrader.co.uk/ or through the menu gateway listings of the Orange and T-Mobile services.Our stock can also be viewed on o2's pda/xda mobile handsets with high quality photos in the vehicle details.
The Auto Trader WAP site currently generates in excess of 40,000 searches and 325,000 impressions each month (July 2006).
